Garage Conversion: Cinema Room

This double garage conversion was really fun to do as the customer wanted to turn it into a Star Wars themed cinema room. We installed a Dolby Atmos surround sound system which included seven speakers in the ceiling and five around the floor. We also fitted an indirect LED lighting system around the ceiling which has a vast range of colours which really gives the room a cinema feel. Being a double garage, there was plenty of room for all of the customer’s gadgets and as you can see from the photographs, it is amazing what can be achieved with an unused space.
We had been badly let down by builders etc in the past but Pro Build Garage Conversions have instilled our faith in builders again. Right from the start when we met them to discuss our conversion through to the finished product, the work was very professionally carried out. We never thought the room would look as good as it does and that’s down to the team’s hard work, arriving early on site ready to crack on and never stopping, always being thorough and meticulous with their work.
We were happy to leave them alone on site for the duration of the conversion, and they made sure the house was secure at night and no tools were left lying around. All we can add is that the end product more than met our expectations, it’s amazing to think that our lovely new cinema room was once a grotty garage.
